D T & Q- Nobody stays single..

Wondering what it is.. It is the latest production By EVAM, the theatre group that has grown up to be so popular now:) My first ever play i watched was Chapter two, a couple of years back with my sister. I owe it all to her, if not for my sister I wouldn’t have got interested in watching plays. And of course, the credit goes to Evam as well, for their fun filled plays. After my first play, I always looked forward to their visit to Chennai. I got to watch the following plays by them, Love letter, Art, Python hyssssteria. I enjoyed Python hyssssteria the best of all their plays.

And now they are back after one and half years with D T & Q. Doubles, triples and Quadruples- Nobody stays single.

I was all excited when I received their mail about the play. I thought to myself that the title sounds just too interesting to be missed. I assumed it must be something about relationships:P. But there Karthik, one of the founders of the theatre group, had a totally different and a cool explanation about the title.:) I don’t want to mention it here, cos those of you who might want to watch the play shouldn’t get disappointed (Anyway, you could ask me in person, if you can’t stand the suspense :))

Of all the plays that I watched, the experience with DT&Q was something different. I went for this play with a huge set of friends and friends of friends, got to meet some of my school friends by chance and many others I knew. This was the first ever time, we couldn’t get tickets in spite of blocking them. This just shows Evam has definitely become so popular and finally has got the recognition and outcome they deserved:)Am sure, they are going to go places:)

You could visit www.evam.in, their official website to know more about their productions. I would really suggest you watch their plays sometime, you are in for a great evening, laughter and a whole lot of entertainment:)

'It's a full bodied wine, slightly acetic with a mild childishly sweet aftertaste, which goes down easy and warm. A hint of wild berries and lemon, and yet a whiff of spice. Overall Ripe, Indulgent and its time has come..'

This is it right ?!! :p
